Religious Education:

Parents of students intending to enroll in formation for First-Year Confirmation and Second Grade (i.e. First-Year First Holy Communion) should turn in registration paperwork by 5:00pm on 9/29/20. 

Forms can be picked up at the parish office front door or on the link to your right.

They can be returned to the parish office front door drop box.

No late registrations will be allowed to enroll in class this academic year.

R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initation for Adults)
This is the process for those adults (over the age of 18 and out of high school) who are either unbaptized, baptized in another Christian denomination, or are baptized and uncatechized.

Classes will be held on Thursday nights at 6:30pm beginning September 24th. Applications can be picked up at the parish office front door. Completed applications must be returned by September 23rd at 5:00pm to the parish office drop box (found on the front door).



Our Current Pandemic Protocols:

- The usual obligation to attend Mass for Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation are dispensed until further notice.

- Mission Feasts (Funciones) are canceled, however our patron saints will be honored at their proper Mass. 

- All liturgies will take place in the Main Church, Capillas may not be used given their limited capacity. 

- San Geronimo Capilla (Taos Pueblo) liturgies will only be open to resident tribal members by order of the Governor of Taos Pueblo.

- Ministries may meet in-person at a maximum of 10 persons only in a place that allows for a six foot distancing between participants of the same household. The area must be sanitized after. Ministers are asked to donate cleaning supplies if possible to assure the area used can be sanitized. If needed, they may contact the office for help with supplies. Virtual meetings are still encouraged and should be given first consideration.

- All weddings and funerals will be in the form of a rite “Outside of Mass Without Communion”

- For regularly scheduled Mass and the celebration of weddings and funerals, a maximum of 120 people will be allowed to attend. Rosaries or vigils of any kind for the deceased must be done the day of the funeral liturgy or at the funeral home.

- For the celebration of baptism, a maximum of 20 people will be allowed to attend.

- Campus buildings, such as St. Joseph’s hall, may not be rented for special occasions until further notice.

- When on campus, Covid-Safe Practices Will Always Be Mandatory for Everyone (i.e., social distancing at least six feet apart from one another and mask wearing)
